Canthan New Year's Festival

The Canthan New Year's Festival returns to Shing Jea Monastery on Friday, February 8 at Noon Pacific time (-8 GMT). This lunar-themed weekend event will usher in the Year of the Rat with feasting, questing, and fireworks. Help prepare a meal fit for a celestial being, and you could walk away from the festival with a special gift you can use to light up your Guild Hall or a local town or outpost (but only if the Celestial Rat enjoys its meal). In addition, this year's festival will include:

• The return of the festival games along the Shing Jea Boardwalk.
• The annual running of the Rollerbeetle Races.
• A new Celestial Rat miniature that will randomly drop from Lunar Fortunes.
• Pig exchange: turn in five of last year's Miniature Pigs and get a new and improved Celestial Pig.

Eye of the North^TM Free Trial!

The holidays may be long gone, but that doesn't mean you can't get one final present. There's still time to activate your five-hour trial of Guild Wars: Eye of the North^TM! And don't worry if you haven't yet made it to level 20. We permanently lowered the level requirement for Eye of the North from 20 to 10 to make it easier than ever for everyone to enjoy this wonderful expansion. We even provide a buff to all non-maxed characters entering the expansion to allow them to tackle the high-end content!

Tournament Action in 2008

The 2008 Guild Wars Automated Tournament Series continues! January's playoffs offered exciting action in both Hero Battles and GvG competition, and it's not too late to join the February tournament.
