Hall of Monuments

The Hall of Monuments isn't just a place to display your most impressive Guild Wars trophies and achievements—it's also where your heroic legacy will endure all the way to Guild Wars 2. The Hall has changed with the 4th Anniversary Update, so read on for details.

Welcome to the Hall

Legendary Defender of Ascalon

The Hall itself is an explorable area located inside the Eye of the North fortress in the Far Shiverpeaks. Visit the Hall of Monuments to record your most impressive achievements, both character-specific and account-wide.

Inside the Hall are five monument platforms, each dedicated to a different type of unlockable or in-game achievement:

  • The Fellowship monument displays your Heroes and pets
  • Devotion shows off your miniatures
  • Honor keeps your titles and accomplishments in one place
  • Valor holds the special weapons you've obtained
  • Resilience contains your prestige armor sets

Customize your Display

You can also customize which of your statues appear in each monument. To do so:

  • Select the monument pedestal
  • Choose from the display options

Set the Stage

To display a title in your Honor monument, you need to achieve a specific rank in that title track.

To view achievements in another monument stage, you must first unlock the stage. Unlock your monuments with one of the four Monumental Tapestries, earned by completing key plot points in the Eye of the North storyline.

Things to See, People to Meet

The Hall of Monuments plays an important role in the Eye of the North storyline, and you can use the Scrying Pool inside to review story-specific visions and cinematics. As you play, watch for the Call of the Eye icon, which lets you know when the Scrying Pool has new visions. Key Eye of the North story characters also appear, so you can speak with Gwen, Vekk, and Ogden Stonehealer for additional story-specific information and quests.

You can also talk to Kimmes the Historian, who will help you:

  • Switch between displaying your character or your account accomplishments

Secure Your Legacy

For you future-thinking players, remember that someday you'll be able to send the accomplishments you've displayed in the Hall of Monuments to Guild Wars 2, which will give your Guild Wars 2 characters exclusive rewards. What does that mean, exactly? It means to get your rewards you have to both:

  • Meet the appropriate requirements in Guild Wars
  • Send your monument information to Guild Wars 2

When we get closer to Guild Wars 2, check the website for more information about qualifying for these unique rewards..
