This year marks the sixth anniversary of Guild Wars! We couldn't have made it this far without you, so we're hosting a big party — and you're the guests of honor! Come celebrate with us from April 28th to May 6. It's going to be a week of games, sugary treats, and anniversary surprises!

What better way to commemorate our sixth anniversary than with a week-long party in Shing Jea Monastery, complete with games, races, and contests to reward the quick and the lucky? The famous, festive Shing Jea Boardwalk will reopen for the birthday celebration.

Got a competitive streak? Speak with Captain Li Sah and test your dodge ball skills in the Dragon Arena! Do you feel the need for speed? Speak to the Rollerbeetle Trainer and try your hand at Rollerbeetle Racing. You'll find both these NPCs in Lion's Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.

New Birthday Presents

This year we're introducing a brand new series of Everlasting Tonics for characters who turn six. We're rolling out a series of over 30 possible tonics, featuring a wide range of friends, allies, foes, and some surprises!

These special birthday tonics are given all year round; you'll receive your gift on the creation date of each character on your account.

Anniversary Update

In addition to the anniversary party, we're also rolling out a number of in-game updates on April 28th. The improvements include a mutual friend locator, new hard mode quests, high-res textures in outposts, and the new Flux system in PvP. Check out John Stumme's Developer Update Notes to learn more!
